Winemaking
Malafemmena is a sparkling white wine from Umbria IGT made from 100% Grechetto grown on clay-limestone hillside vineyards. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature in stainless steel, followed by natural re-fermentation in spring with fresh must and native yeasts. The wine then rests in bottle for about 3 months before release. Limited production.

Taste profile
Straw yellow in colour. Aromas of bread crust, yellow fruits, and light spice. On the palate it is dry, fresh, and fruity with a clean mineral finish.
