Winemaking
85% Nerello Mascalese and 15% Nerello Cappuccio, grown on the north side of Etna in Solicchiata, Castiglione di Sicilia, at 800 m a.s.l. The volcanic soil is rich in sand and ash, and the vines are on average 15 years old.

Taste profile
Intense and spicy on the nose, with clear notes of cherry and red fruits and herbaceous hints. Elegant, soft and mineral on the palate, with gentle tannins and a savoury, persistent finish.
