A native grape variety of Friuli, widely grown and appreciated both within the region and beyond. Its origins are documented in records dating back over two centuries. Delicately aromatic, with a pleasant balance between acidity and body.
The grapes undergo destemming and a brief maceration lasting a few hours, followed by soft pressing and static cold decantation of the must. Fermentation takes place over approximately 15 days at a controlled temperature between 16°C and 18°C, with periodic bâtonnage (lees stirring). The wine is then aged in steel tanks for about 6–7 months until bottling.
Taste profile A lovely straw yellow shimmers with soft green-gold reflections, hinting at the elegance to come. On the nose, delicate aromatics unfold — soft yellow flowers mingling with ripe, yellow-fleshed fruit. The palate follows through beautifully, offering good body and fruit-forward richness, balanced by a pleasant savoriness and a long, persistent finish.
